Anthony Cooper (@total_dribble), founder of the Football Blogging Awards, said:

“This years’ awards have smashed our records once again, with more than twice as many votes cast as there were in 2015 and four times as many as 2014. The winners thoroughly deserve this recognition for the total dedication to their craft and their love of the game. We hope that the awards encourage football fans to continue blogging, or to start up new blogs, as they are the heart and soul of football”
