The UK’s leading aggregator and news discovery platform, NewsNow, has today been announced as one of the official partners of the Football Blogging Awards (FBAs) 2018.
The move will see the company – which surfaces content from a broad and diverse range of the world’s best news sources – become an official category sponsor, receiving naming rights to ‘The NewsNow Best Young Blogger or Vlogger’.
Speaking about the partnership, Niall Coen, Co-Founder and CEO of SN&CK Media – who supports the running of the FBAs – said, “Having worked alongside NewsNow for a number of years, we were really pleased to hear that they wanted to get involved in the FBAs. The category they chose to sponsor is a perfect fit for them as they have opened many a gateway for young, aspiring football content creators to have successful careers in the industry. We want to thank Greg Witham and his team for being part of the evening.”
Greg Witham, Chief Operating Officer at NewsNow, added: “We are delighted to be able to partner with the FBAs in supporting and recognising the best rising talent in the world of football content creation..”
The FBA’s is the most significant event in the calendar for all those within the football content creation industry, recognising and celebrating the best football websites, social influencers, bloggers and vloggers around the world. It is when content creators are recognised by fans, followers and their peers and win one of the many prestigious honours that are on offer on the night. The Awards attracts one of the biggest social engagement campaigns of the year, garnering close to 100,000 votes and often trending on Twitter in the build-up to, and on the night of, the ceremony.
