In the shadows of the ‘Theatre of Dreams’, the stage was set for the 4th annual Football Blogging Awards hosted at Hotel Football.
After all the detailed preparations and tactical tinkering had been completed the venue was ready for a fantastic night celebrating the hard work of football bloggers and their love of the beautiful game.
At 7pm, the doors opened wider than a leaky defensive line and 260 guests filed into Hotel Football and were presented with over 1,000 bottles from @CarlsbergFooty
Host for the award ceremony was Bianca Westwood (@beewestwood) of Sky Sports fame and regular blogger for West Ham Till I Die kicked off proceedings by welcoming the guests before introducing FBAs organiser and founder Anthony Cooper to the stage for his introductory speech.
Before any trophy celebrations or laps of honour around Old Trafford could take place the staple football fan half time refreshments in the form of pie, chips and beer had to be consumed.
Fully satisfied after the buffet, the atmosphere was palpable as the presentation of awards began. With over 150,000 votes cast, Bianca Westwood called upon a list of special guests including former Liverpool and England star John Barnes to present the awards

After Collymore had left the stage, attention turned to the Best Football Club Blog with Blaugranes Barca receiving the judges prize and Anfield HQ taking the fan award.
Soon after the world was in motion as former flying winger John Barnes was welcomed to the stage to present the award for the Best Gambling Football Blog which was taken home by Footy Accumulators who won the judges award and TheODDSbible claimed the fans choice.
Up next the beautiful game displayed in beautiful way with the Best Visual Football Blog awards going to Brickstand for the judges choice and 8bitfootball snatched the fans prize away from the fierce competition.
